I use Jorge Morejon as both my personal realtor as well as to find properties for investment purposes.  You can imagine as an investor that I have wide variety of realtors for whom I want to do business with.  There are many reasons that my wife and I use Jorge  as our personal realtor over other realtors (and believe me we have worked with many.
He listens.  May not sound like much to you, but it means the world to us.  Because Jorge listens to what we want in a house and the price range, we don’t waste time looking at homes that we know we wouldn’t have an interest in.

·          Patience.  When you are looking for a personal home, you have a definite understanding of what you are looking for.  A home is very personal for most people. My wife and I are no different. So the last thing you want is a realtor who is wondering what is taking you so long to make a decision on a house. Jorge has never tried to push us into a home that we wouldn’t be comfortable. And we are very appreciative of that.

·          He is flexible. Midway through the process, my wife and I just came to a conclusion that the type of homes we were looking for were really just a substitute for the house we really wanted. We told Jorge. Jorge changed gears immediately to go to work on what our wants and desires were and we never had to look at the other homes that we were no longer interested in again.

·          He knows the area and the market.  This actually goes to his professionalism.  We have asked for some areas that I knew that Jorge wasn’t really familiar with.  But between the time I told him what/where we wanted to be and the time we met, he put in the time to find out all the particulars about the area.  His professionalism saved me time.  And when you travel as much as I do, time is a precious commodity.

 

As a real estate investor, the thing I appreciate about Jorge is that he is proactive.  When I have worked with other realtors, I was always asking them about this property and that property.  We have provided Jorge criteria of homes/areas/prices that we want to invest in.  And when deals meet the parameters that we have set out, I get a call. He doesn’t try to pitch me on every deal.  Just the ones that we are willing to buy.I don’t believe you could ask for a better realtor than Jorge Morejon. He is everything you want in a realtor and more.

A Lot of Pleasant Surprises

 

I met Jorge through craigslist when I responded to one of his listings. I asked him some questions about the place he had for sale, he answered the questions. Later, I told him this place didn’t fit my house searching criteria. With the little knowledge he had about me or the kind of place I was interested in, he sent me some listings he thought would be better for me. This immediately told me he wasn’t lazy and I can appreciate someone who takes the initiative. From this moment on communication between Jorge and I continued via phone and email. This was another pleasant surprise because most real estate agents do the initial work, but loose sight of following up. Communication is extremely important and I appreciated the fact that Jorge got back to me in a timely manner. When I asked, Jorge gave me his honest opinion about properties both the positives and negatives. Jorge definitely knows what he is doing and really put me at ease when I was looking at buying a home. Overall, my experience with Jorge was GREAT! From a stranger on Craigslist, to someone I will recommend for years to come because of his professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication.
